I play a lot of poker and I invest a lot of money into it. Why would Ignition offer such stupid bonus? Why would they tie tournament winnings to it? I don't get it. So, in the end it cost me a tiny tiny amount of bitcoin capital gains, but it certainly is a canary in the coal mine. Geeze, $25 measly bucks are going to cost me a fortune! I put the remainder my money on black in roulette (lost) and forfeited my bonus. I check my bonus requirement and was dismayed to find that I had met 4% of the requirement with those wagers. How do you earn points? By betting on poker of course! So I went to a 1-2 cash game, wagered a little over $300. Everything else was subject to 'playthrough requirements.' I read what those requirements were, and basically I had to earn these 'points' to unlock all bonuses and winnings associated with those bonuses or I would forfeit all the cash completely.

Unfortunately, I accepted a '300% deposit bonus' and Ignition declared that every penny of my winnings were now associated with this bonus and locked all of it, except for $1. After winning a few small sit-and-goes (and losing a few) I enrolled in a small $7 KO tourney and played a great game, had a great run and won the entire thing, first place.

I transferred a very very modest $25 into Ignition to test it out. I was quite pleased to find that I didn't have to deposit anymore money. I went to my CoinBase account to find that my meager remainder that I had left in there a few years ago had ballooned to a decent bankroll. I thought, after a lot of bad experiences to give Ignition a shot with Bitcoin as I've read quite a bit that it is a good site with a good reputation. I live in PA where the only site is pokerstars, for reasons that are outside of the scope of this message, I hate Pokerstars and am now boycotting it. I love recreational poker, I'm a huge fan and a novice player that manages to play some good hands sometimes. Fortunately, I have not had the same experience, but I will say buyer beware!! Also, if Ignition offers you any bonuses or promotions RUN, RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!! I'll tell you my story.
